Nous devons mesurer la valeur des dons conformément à ce qui est écrit dans les Saintes Écritures, où il est démontré qu'ils sont importants. Lorsque la Bible dit, "désirez les dons spirituels" (1 Corinthiens 14:1), nous ne pouvons pas changer cela en "éloignez-vous des dons de l'Esprit". Nous pouvons lutter contre leur mauvais usage, mais jamais contre les dons eux-mêmes.
Quelle responsabilité ! Dieu offre à son Eglise ces dons, mais à la condition que nous priions pour eux. Très souvent, nous ne le faisons pas, et c'est pourquoi nous sommes si pauvres et dans le besoin.
Il existe différentes sortes de dons ... Tous sont l'oeuvre d'un seul et même Esprit, et il les donne à chacun, comme il le détermine.
