Ouvre nos yeux

Elie a prié Dieu pour son serviteur : "Ouvre ses yeux pour qu'il puisse voir." Qu'y avait-il à voir ? Une grande armée pour les défendre.

Nous pouvons prier pour les autres, afin que leurs yeux s'ouvrent, et aussi pour nous-mêmes. C'est l'Esprit Saint qui fait le travail. Jésus a dit que nous aurions le pouvoir quand le Saint-Esprit viendrait sur nous, et c'est parce que le Saint-Esprit nous donne la vision.

. ... quand lui, l'Esprit de vérité, sera venu, il vous guidera dans toute la vérité ...

Elijah prayed to God for his servant: "Open his eyes that he may see." What was there to see? A great army to defend them.

We may pray for others, that their eyes may be opened, and also for ourselves. It is the Holy Spirit who does the job. Jesus said we would have power when the Holy Spirit came upon us, and that is because the Holy Spirit gives us vision.

. . . when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth ....

John 16:13

Lord, what a victory when we see Your way, Your plan.
