Vaincre la peur

David avait vaincu la peur. C'est pourquoi il pouvait dire que le cœur de personne ne doit lui faire défaut à cause de Goliath. Il n'y avait pas de panique, pas d'excitation fébrile et inutile, pas de cris pour garder le moral. Il y avait un calme parfait.

Pour un enfant de Dieu, la peur est un ennemi vaincu. La puissance du Saint-Esprit nous donne la victoire sur la peur. Après la Pentecôte, nous nous tenons tous sur le terrain de la victoire.

Fais de moi, par ton Esprit Saint, un David qui voit les Goliaths d'aujourd'hui dans les bonnes proportions, Seigneur.

David had conquered fear. That is why he could say that no man's heart need fail him because of Goliath. There was no panic; there was no feverish and wasteful excitement; there was no shouting to keep the spirits up. There was perfect calm.

For a child of God, fear is a conquered enemy. The power of the Holy Spirit gives us victory over fear. After Pentecost, we all stand on victory ground.

Make me, through Your Holy Spirit, a David who sees the Goliaths of today in the right proportions, Lord.
